The shorter wavelengths are then filtered out in violet light. The light with the higher wavelengths remains visible through the filter appearing in red.
The carriers can be easily detected and compared to neighboring healthy tissue, which illuminates in a green color.
The bacteria infected dentin glows red, and it clearly differentiates itself from the healthy green color of the dentin.
