A regular Orion kit contains one natural, and one contrast shade, however, feel free to customize your kit.
Orion in the chemical cure form is a paste/paste system. The dentist can choose between the self-cure or light-cure form, depending on the clinical situation. In the light-cure mode, there is virtually unlimited working time, while the self-cure (chemical) mode offers a convenient working time. The material is moldable and non-sticky yet maintains an adhesive consistency. It has well-balanced x-ray opacity, allowing easy distinction from tooth structure, pins, and posts. The material contains moderately hard filler for easier carving and shaping.
The standard Orion kit comes in two shades: a contrasting shade for easy distinction from the tooth structure, and a tooth-colored shade for use under shell crowns.
